ALMOND BUTTER LACTATION ENERGY BITES for the nursing mommies:) but this recipe can actually be for everyone! Just leave out the Brewers’s Yeast if you’re NOT nursing!
2C bobsredmill organic oats
1/2C ground flax (also used bobsredmill)
2 tbsp ground hemp seeds
3 tbsp Brewers yeast
1C almond butter
1/2C raw honey (sub maple syrup)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2C enjoylifefoods dark chocolate chips
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl except for the chocolate chips. Stir to combine and then fold in chocolate chips.
Roll mixture into a tablespoon sized balls and add to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
*Optional-drizzle melted chocolate over the top and add a pinch of finishing salt bc salty and sweet is 💯
Store in a air-tight container in fridge or freeze and take out for quick grabs.
